Getting There

  • Shuttle Bus

    From anywhere within Grand Canyon Village, the Visitor Center is easily accessible via the free Village (Blue) Route shuttle. This route connects lodges, campgrounds, and other key points within the village to the Visitor Center Plaza. No tickets are required, and buses arrive every 15-30 minutes. This service is included with your park entrance fee.

  • Walking

    From Mather Point, a short walk west along the paved Rim Trail leads directly to the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. The path offers continuous canyon views and is easily accessible. The walk is approximately 0.3 miles and takes about 5-10 minutes. This is a free and scenic option.

  • Tusayan Route Shuttle

    From the town of Tusayan, located just south of the park, take the free Tusayan (Purple) Route shuttle to the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. The shuttle makes four stops in Tusayan before heading into the park. A valid park pass is required to board the shuttle in Tusayan. Park passes can be purchased at the Red Feather Lodge front desk. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes.
