Getting There

• Car

Continue on this road for approximately 10 miles until you reach the entrance to the Tonto National Forest. After entering the forest, follow the signs for Catfish Point Recreation Area. The final stretch will involve a left turn onto a dirt road. Please be cautious as this road may be rough; a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Continue for about 3 miles to reach Catfish Point Recreation Area. Note that a Tonto National Forest parking pass may be required, which can be purchased at local ranger stations or online.

  For those relying on public transportation, begin your journey by taking a bus to Apache Junction from Phoenix. Upon arrival at Tonto National Forest, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Catfish Point Recreation Area, as public transport does not reach that specific area.
