From Barrio Viejo, head east on West 18th Street until you reach South 6th Avenue. Turn left onto South 6th Avenue and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several local shops and cafes, which are perfect for a quick refreshment. Once you reach East 36th Street, turn right and continue walking for another mile. This route will take you through a residential area where you can admire the architecture of Tucson's historic homes. Continue straight until you reach South Kolb Road, where you will turn left. After approximately 0.3 miles, you will arrive at the entrance to Saguaro National Park, where you can find the iconic Saguaro National Park Sign.

If you're comfortable with biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental shop in Barrio Viejo. Once you have your bike, start by heading north on South 4th Avenue towards East 18th Street. Turn right onto East 18th Street and follow it until you reach South 6th Avenue. Turn left onto South 6th Avenue and bike for about 1 mile. When you reach East 36th Street, turn right, and continue for about 1 mile until you reach South Kolb Road. Turn left, and after another 0.3 miles, you will see the entrance to Saguaro National Park, where the iconic sign is located. Note that bike rentals may cost around $15-30 for a few hours.
