From Kapan city center, walk to the main bus station located near the Kapan Art Museum. There, take a minibus (marshrutka) to Sisian. The ride usually takes about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Zorats Karer, which is often a little before you reach Sisian town.

Once you are dropped off near Sisian, follow the main road towards Sisian town. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign pointing towards Zorats Karer (also known as Karahunj). Follow the dirt path leading to the site, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main road.
