Opening times, essentials, and a few local tips gathered into one calmer, easier-to-scan planning section.
Boat Tour
The most common and convenient way to reach the Antilla Shipwreck is by boat tour. Numerous operators offer snorkeling and diving excursions from various points along the Aruban coast, including Palm Beach and Noord. These tours typically include transportation to the site, snorkeling or diving gear, and guidance from experienced professionals. Tour prices range from $60 to $125 per person, depending on the tour length and included amenities.
Public Transport
While public transport won't take you directly to the Antilla Shipwreck, you can take the Arubus to a nearby location like Malmok Beach or Arashi Beach. From there, you would need to join a boat tour to reach the actual shipwreck site. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.60 (AWG 4.50). Keep in mind that this option requires additional planning and coordination with a boat tour operator.
Taxi
Taxis can take you to a departure point for boat tours to the Antilla. A taxi from the Noord area to Malmok Beach, a common departure point, will cost approximately $15-$20. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip. From Malmok Beach, you will still need to arrange a boat tour to access the shipwreck.
