Discover more about Boca Prins

Boca Prins is a captivating bay located within Aruba's Arikok National Park, on the island's northeastern coast. This secluded beach is not your typical Caribbean paradise of calm turquoise waters and gentle sunbathing. Instead, Boca Prins offers a raw and untamed landscape, characterized by dramatic limestone cliffs, expansive sand dunes, and the constant pounding of the surf. The beach itself is small, measuring only about 55 meters in length. Swimming is generally not recommended due to the strong currents and powerful waves. However, the stunning scenery makes Boca Prins a worthwhile destination for photographers, hikers, and anyone seeking a connection with nature. The area gets its name from a former plantation, adding a touch of history to the natural splendor. The constant trade winds have sculpted the landscape, creating impressive sand dunes that stretch inland. Visitors can climb the wooden staircase to access the beach and explore the dunes, taking in panoramic views of the coastline. While Boca Prins Restaurant was once a convenient stop for refreshments, it has been closed since 2019. Therefore, it's essential to bring your own water and snacks when visiting. Despite the lack of facilities, the unique beauty and tranquility of Boca Prins make it a memorable experience for those willing to venture off the beaten path.
