Car
If you're driving to Red Hands Cave walking track, start from the town of Glenbrook. Head north on the Great Western Highway (A32) for about 5 km until you reach the turn-off to the Oaks Trail. Follow the signs for the Oaks Trail and take the left turn onto the Oaks Fire Trail. Drive along this unsealed road for approximately 2 km until you reach the designated car park for the Red Hands Cave walking track. Parking is free, but please ensure you park in the allocated spaces to avoid fines.

To reach Red Hands Cave walking track via public transport, catch a train to Glenbrook Station on the Blue Mountains Line from Sydney. From Glenbrook Station, you can take the bus number 678 towards Springwood and alight at 'Oaks Trail'. The bus stop is located near the entrance to the Oaks Trail. After getting off, follow the Oaks Trail for about 1.5 km until you reach the car park for the Red Hands Cave walking track. Please check the NSW Transport website for the latest bus schedules and fares.

If you are already in the Blue Mountains National Park and wish to access the Red Hands Cave walking track on foot, you can start at the nearest walking track junction.
