Car
If you are driving to Russell Falls, you will need to enter Mount Field National Park. The park entrance is located off the Gordon River Road (A10), approximately 64 km northwest of Hobart. After entering the park, follow the signs to the Russell Falls car park. The car park is located at the end of the road and is a short walk from the falls. There is a parking fee of AUD 10 per vehicle for a day pass, which can be paid at the entrance.

Public Transport
To reach Russell Falls via public transport, take a bus from Hobart to the town of New Norfolk. From New Norfolk, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the Mount Field National Park entrance (approximately 30 km away). Once at the park entrance, you can walk to Russell Falls by following the well-marked walking trail. The walk from the car park to the falls is approximately 30 minutes one way.

If you are already in Mount Field National Park, head to the Russell Falls car park, which is a short distance from the visitor centre. From the car park, follow the Russell Falls Nature Walk, which is a well-maintained track. The walk takes about 30 minutes to reach the falls, with plenty of scenic spots along the way.
