Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre. Head south on Lake Dobson Road for about 3.5 kilometers. Continue until you reach the junction with Gordon River Road. Turn right and follow Gordon River Road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will then see signs directing you to Teds Beach Camping. The camping area is located on the left, just before the beach.

    For those using public transport, take the bus service from Hobart to New Norfolk. From New Norfolk, you will need to take a taxi to reach Mount Field National Park. Once in the park, follow the same directions as a car traveler from the Visitor Centre. Please note that taxi services may incur additional costs, so it is advisable to check the fare beforehand.
