Car
If you are driving, start from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre, located on Lake Dobson Road. From the Visitor Centre, head south on Lake Dobson Road until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto the Gordon River Road (A10). Continue along this road for approximately 15 km until you reach the turnoff for Scott's Peak Road. Turn left onto Scott's Peak Road and follow it for about 10 km. Look for parking areas along the road, as the final approach involves a short walk to the lookout. Red Knoll Lookout is located just off Scott's Peak Road.
