If you're starting from the town of Strahan, drive east on Andrew Street toward the Murchison Highway (A10). Continue on A10 for about 15 km until you reach the junction with Gordon River Road. Turn right onto Gordon River Road (B24). Follow Gordon River Road for approximately 20 km. The lookout is located on your right; look for the sign marking Knob Hill Lookout. There is parking available at the lookout.

From Strahan, take the local bus service that operates towards the Gordon River. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the stop nearest to Gordon River Road, you can either walk approximately 3 km along Gordon River Road to reach the lookout, or you may arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you directly to Knob Hill Lookout.
