Getting There

Car
From Mount Field National Park, head south on Gordon River Road (B61) towards the junction with the Lyell Highway (A10). Continue on Gordon River Road for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction with the Huon Highway (A6). Turn left onto the Huon Highway and continue for about 21 km. Look for the signs directing you towards the Hartz Mountains National Park. You will turn onto the Hartz Road, which leads directly into the park. The drive will take approximately 1 hour from Mount Field.
