Rickshaw
If you are in the area of Dhaka's New Market, find a rickshaw stand or wave down a rickshaw. Tell the driver 'Bangladesh National Museum' or point to the address: Shahbagh Rd, Dhaka 1000. The driver should take you directly to the museum, which is about a 15-minute ride from New Market, depending on traffic.

If you are near Dhaka University, you can walk to the museum. Head south on the main road from the university towards Shahbagh. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes, and you will see the Bangladesh National Museum on your right, just before the intersection with Shahbagh Rd.

Bus
If you are near Gulshan, you can catch a local bus heading towards Shahbagh. Board the bus that says 'Shahbagh' on its destination board. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Shahbagh, get off at the nearest stop and walk a short distance towards Shahbagh Rd, where the museum is located.

Metro Rail (if applicable)
Currently, Dhaka does not have a fully operational metro rail. However, when it becomes available, you would take the metro to the nearest station and transfer to a rickshaw or bus to reach the museum.
