Car
If you are traveling by car from Tsirang, start by heading north on the main road (NH 2) towards Thimphu. Approximately 50 kilometers into your journey, you will pass through the town of Wangdue Phodrang. Continue on NH 2 until you reach Thimphu. Once in Thimphu, follow the signs towards Zilukha. The nunnery is located at Gaden Lam, and you can use GPS coordinates 27.486035, 89.629759 to assist you in locating the exact spot.

Public Transportation
For those taking public transportation, you can catch a bus from Tsirang to Thimphu. Buses run regularly from the Tsirang bus terminal, and the journey will take about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Thimphu bus terminal, you can hire a taxi or a local shared taxi to take you to Zilukha. The taxi ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and the fare should be around 300-500 BTN (Bhutanese Ngultrum). Ask the driver to take you to Gaden Lam, where Thangthong Dewachen Dupthop Nunnery is located.
