Getting There

• Subway

  If you are near a subway station, take the Line 1 (the orange line) towards 'General Osório'. Get off at the 'Cinelândia' station. After exiting the station, follow the signs towards Rua Sete de Setembro. Once you are on Rua Sete de Setembro, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé, located at number 14.

• Bus

  Look for a bus stop nearby and take bus lines that head towards Centro, such as lines 433, 474, or 500. Make sure to ask the bus driver if they stop near Rua Sete de Setembro. After getting off, walk a couple of blocks to the north on Rua Sete de Setembro, and you will find the church at number 14.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of Cinelândia or Praça XV, you can walk to Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé. From Cinelândia, head east on Rua Senador Dantas, then turn left onto Rua Sete de Setembro. The church will be on your right at number 14. If starting from Praça XV, head north on Avenida Rio Branco until you reach Rua Sete de Setembro, then turn right and walk until you see the church.

  If you prefer a taxi or ride-sharing service, simply inform the driver that you want to go to Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé at Rua Sete de Setembro, 14 in Centro. This is a well-known location, so they should be familiar with it. Just relax and enjoy the ride!
