Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Copacabana, walk to the nearest bus stop (e.g., Rua Barão de Ipanema) and take the bus 583 (Cascadura). This bus will take you to the Praça da Bandeira. From there, transfer to bus 302 (Praça da Bandeira - Jacarepaguá) towards Jacarepaguá. Get off at the bus stop 'Estrada da Cascatinha'. From the bus stop, walk approximately 15 minutes up Estrada da Cascatinha, following the road until you reach the entrance of the Parque Nacional da Tijuca where Pico da Tijuca is located.

  • Metro + Bus

    Take the Metro Line 1 (Cardeal Arcoverde station) towards Uruguai. Get off at the 'General Osório' station and transfer to Line 2 (Botafogo direction). Get off at 'Botafogo' station. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the bus 582 (Praça da Bandeira). Get off at the 'Estrada da Cascatinha' stop and walk approximately 15 minutes to the entrance of the Parque Nacional da Tijuca.
