Car
If you're driving, start from the main entrance of Ruvubu National Park. Head south on the park road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Kiyange. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue driving for another 5 kilometers. The Ruvubu National Park Lodge is located at 2F94+926, Kiyange, which will be on your right side. Make sure to keep an eye out for the lodge's sign to ensure you don’t miss it.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you will need to take a bus or shared taxi from Gitega or Bujumbura to Kiyange. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kiyange. The ride can take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kiyange, you can walk to Ruvubu National Park Lodge, which is about a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point. Follow the main road south from the bus stop, and look for signs leading to the lodge. Be prepared for a small fee for the public transport, which typically ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 BIF.

Walking
If you are already within Ruvubu National Park and prefer to walk to the lodge, head towards the southern park exit. The lodge is about a 30 to 40-minute walk from the park's central area. Follow the well-trodden paths and keep an eye out for park signs that will guide you towards Kiyange. Once you reach the main road, the lodge will be a short distance down the road on your right.
