Hiking
From the Giant Forest area, start at the General Sherman Tree. Follow the Congress Trail, which leads you through a beautiful grove of giant sequoias. Continue along the trail for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with the Redwood Mountain Trail. Take a left onto the Redwood Mountain Trail and follow it for another 2 miles.
