    From South Lake Tahoe, take Highway 89 north. From Tahoe City, take Highway 89 south. Meeks Bay Resort is approximately 10 miles south of Tahoe City and 8 miles north of Emerald Bay. Day-use parking is available for $12 per vehicle. Parking can be limited, especially during peak season. An alternative parking area is available at Homewood Mountain Resort, with a shuttle service to Meeks Bay Resort.

    The Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) operates a bus service to Meeks Bay. From Truckee, take the bus to Tahoe City Transit Center and then transfer to the bus heading towards Sugar Pine Point State Park. From Tahoe City, take the bus towards Sugar Pine Point State Park. The bus stops at Sugar Pine Point State Park, a short walk from Meeks Bay Resort. A single fare costs approximately $13-$16.
