    From Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, continue on Northside Drive. Parking is available at various locations throughout the valley, including Yosemite Village, Curry Village, and near Yosemite Falls. Parking is free, but fills up quickly, especially during peak season. Arrive before 9 am to increase your chances of finding a spot. Once parked, utilize the free shuttle system to explore the valley. Note that between May and September, a reservation may be required to enter the park.

  • Public Transport

    Yosemite Valley is accessible via the Yosemite Valley Shuttle. From various points within Yosemite Valley, including Yosemite Village and Curry Village, hop on the free shuttle. The Valleywide Shuttle serves all major stops in the valley. Shuttles arrive every 12 to 22 minutes. The shuttle is free and provides access to lodging, food services, campgrounds, and trailheads.

  • Walking

    Yosemite Valley is easily explorable on foot via paved paths. From Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, exit the building and proceed along the paved path towards the various attractions. The walk to Lower Yosemite Fall is approximately one mile. The walk to the Ansel Adams Gallery is approximately 0.2 miles. Walking allows you to fully immerse yourself in the scenery and discover hidden gems.
