    From Yosemite Village, the Lower Yosemite Fall Trailhead is an easy half-mile walk west. Follow the paved bicycle path. The falls are visible from much of the valley, providing a clear landmark to guide your way. Alternatively, from the Yosemite Valley Visitor Center, walk along the bicycle path to the Lower Yosemite Fall shuttle stop and begin the trail.

  • Public Transport

    Utilize the free Yosemite Valley shuttle system to reach the trailhead. Take either the Valleywide Shuttle or the East Valley Shuttle to Shuttle Stop #6, which is located near the trailhead. The Valleywide Shuttle arrives every 12-22 minutes, while the East Valley Shuttle arrives every 8-12 minutes. Both operate from 7 am to 10 pm.
