From Stamford, take the Metro-North Railroad train from Stamford Station to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once at Grand Central, exit the station and walk to the 42nd Street Subway station. Take the 7 train towards Flushing. At 5th Avenue, transfer to the B train towards Uptown and Bronx. Get off at the 125th Street station. From there, it’s a short walk to the Apollo Theater located at 253 W 125th St.

You can take the Greyhound or Peter Pan bus from Stamford to New York City, departing from the Stamford Transportation Center. The trip takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, walk to the 42nd Street subway station and take the A, C, or E train to 42nd St - Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, walk to the 42nd Street Subway station, and take the B train towards Uptown and Bronx, getting off at the 125th Street station. The Apollo Theater is a short walk from there.
