    From downtown Stamford, walk to the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Place. At the center, catch the Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once at Grand Central, transfer to the 4, 5, or 6 subway lines towards the Bronx. Get off at 138th Street-Grand Concourse Station and transfer to the B or D subway lines towards the Bronx. Get off at the 182nd Street Station, then walk approximately 10 minutes east to reach the Bronx Zoo at 2300 Southern Blvd.

    Start at the Stamford Transportation Center and take a Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, head to the subway station and take the 4 train towards Woodlawn. Get off at the 138th Street-Grand Concourse Station. From there, transfer to the B or D train towards the Bronx. Alight at the 182nd Street Station. The Bronx Zoo is about a 10-minute walk from the station, heading east on 182nd Street until you reach Southern Blvd.
