Public Bus
To reach the Metropolitan Opera House at 30 Lincoln Center Plaza, New York, NY 10023 from Stamford, head to the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, take the Metro-North Railroad train toward Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the MTA subway system and take the 1 train (the red line) towards 242nd Street. You will need to get off at the 66th Street - Lincoln Center station. Once you exit the station, walk west on 66th Street towards Amsterdam Avenue, and then turn left onto Amsterdam Avenue. Continue walking until you reach 30 Lincoln Center Plaza; the Metropolitan Opera House will be on your right.
Train and Walking
Start your journey at the Stamford Transportation Center and take a Metro-North Railroad train heading to Grand Central Terminal. After arriving at Grand Central, exit the station and walk to the nearby subway entrance. Take the MTA subway 1 train toward South Ferry. Travel for four stops and disembark at the 66th Street - Lincoln Center station. Upon exiting the station, walk west along 66th Street until you reach Amsterdam Avenue, then turn left and walk until you arrive at 30 Lincoln Center Plaza. The Metropolitan Opera House will be located on your right.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Stamford to the Metropolitan Opera House at 30 Lincoln Center Plaza in New York City.
