Train
From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station located at 30 Station Pl, Stamford, CT 06902. You can either walk to the station or take a local bus. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to New York's Grand Central Terminal. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and head to 42nd Street. Walk west towards 6th Avenue.
Bus
You can take the Greyhound or Megabus from Stamford to New York City. The bus departs from the Stamford Transportation Center at 30 Station Pl, Stamford, CT 06902. The ride to New York City will take about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, look for signs directing you to 42nd Street. Walk west towards 6th Avenue.
Walking from Grand Central
After exiting Grand Central Terminal, make your way to 42nd Street. Walk west along 42nd Street for about 0.4 miles (approximately 8-10 minutes). You will pass Bryant Park on your left. Continue walking until you reach 6th Avenue, then turn left. The Town Hall is located at 123 West 43rd Street, just a short walk from 6th Avenue.
Subway
Take the Metro-North Railroad train from Stamford to Grand Central Terminal. Upon arrival, transfer to the subway. Take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square-42nd Street. From there, walk west on 42nd Street towards 6th Avenue. The Town Hall will be on your left at 123 West 43rd Street.
