Bus
The easiest way to reach Muri Beach from other parts of Rarotonga is by taking the local bus. Two bus routes circle the island: Clockwise and Anti-Clockwise. Both buses stop at Muri Beach Resort. The bus fare ranges from NZ$3 to NZ$12. Buses depart hourly from Monday to Saturday.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available throughout Rarotonga and offer a convenient way to reach Muri Beach. A taxi from Avarua to Muri Beach takes approximately 12 minutes and costs between NZ$19 and NZ$23. Taxis are also available at Rarotonga International Airport.
Car
Renting a car offers flexibility in exploring Rarotonga and reaching Muri Beach. The drive from Avarua to Muri Beach takes about 12 minutes. Free parking is available at Muri Beach. Remember that the speed limit in Muri is 30kmph.
