From Rivas, follow signs towards Chirripó National Park. Continue until you reach the area near Escuela de Chimiról, approximately 2.2 km northeast of Chirripo Oasis. Parking is available near the park entrance. From the parking area, you can hike or arrange for a local guide to take you to Chirripo Oasis. Note that there is no parking available at Chirripo Oasis.

From San José, take a bus to Rivas from Terminal 7-10. Upon arrival in Rivas, hire a local taxi or take another bus to Escuela de Chimiról. Chirripo Oasis is located 2.2 km northeast of the school. You can hike this distance or arrange local transportation from the school. A bus ticket from San José to Pérez Zeledón (near Rivas) costs approximately ₡4777 (about $10 USD). The bus from Pérez Zeledón to San Jerónimo costs ₡2200 (approximately $5 USD).

If you are already within Chirripó National Park, make your way to Escuela de Chimiról. From there, take a northeast trail leading approximately 2.2 km to Chirripo Oasis. Ensure you have a good map and consider hiring a local guide.
