If you're traveling by car from the Cotopaxi Region, start by heading towards the town of Latacunga. From Latacunga, take the E35 highway heading north. After about 30 kilometers, turn right onto the E28 road towards Salcedo. Continue on E28 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Pujilí. From Pujilí, follow the signs towards the Quilotoa Loop and continue on the E28. After about 60 kilometers, you will start to see signs for Mojanda. The final stretch will require navigating some smaller roads; ensure you have a reliable map or GPS to find the exact route to Mojanda, which is situated at latitude 0.1394444 and longitude -78.3016667. Parking may be available near the entrance to the area.

To reach Mojanda using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Latacunga to the nearby town of Pujilí. The bus fare is usually around $1-2 and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
