From the center of Ruka, head northeast on Rukatunturintie (road 869) for about 10 kilometers. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, take a left onto Myllykoskentie. Continue driving for about 2 kilometers. You will see the Pieni Karhunkierros Trail on your right, marked with signs. There is parking available nearby.

From Ruka, take the bus service towards Kuusamo. The bus station is located centrally in Ruka, next to the shopping area. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the Myllykoskentie stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1 kilometer along Myllykoskentie, and you will reach the Pieni Karhunkierros Trail entrance.
