Look for signs indicating the trailhead, which may not be clearly marked. The hike itself takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level. There are no entrance fees for the trail.

A taxi from Vaitape to a point near the Popoti trailhead will cost approximately 1,500 XPF (approximately $13 USD) as a starting price, with an additional 130 XPF (approximately $1.15 USD) per kilometer.
