From Vaitape, the main town on Bora Bora, Popoti is accessible by taxi or rental car to a certain point, followed by a hike. From Vaitape, head east along the main circle island road. Look for signs indicating the trailhead, which may not be clearly marked. The hike itself takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level. There are no entrance fees for the trail.
