Boat
To reach ʻĀmanahune from Raiatea, start at the main dock in Uturoa, the capital of Raiatea. Look for a local boat service that operates tours to the nearby island of Bora Bora. Check the schedule as boat services may vary. Once on the boat, enjoy the scenic ride across the lagoon. Upon arrival at Bora Bora, head to the main dock in Vaitape. From the dock, you can either take a taxi boat or walk to the viewpoint at ʻĀmanahune, which is approximately a 20-minute taxi ride from Vaitape. Ensure you confirm with your driver that you wish to go to ʻĀmanahune.
Walking
If you are already on Bora Bora and near the Vaitape area, you can walk to ʻĀmanahune. Start from the main Vaitape dock and walk along the beachfront road. Follow the signs toward the viewpoint. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. Ensure you have water and sun protection as it can get hot.
