Cable Car
The Schneefernerhaus is accessed via the Zugspitze cable car from Eibsee. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, take the Zugspitzbahn train to the Eibsee station. Purchase a round-trip ticket for the Eibsee cable car to the Zugspitze summit. After reaching the summit, follow the signs for a 10-15 minute walk to the Schneefernerhaus. A Zugspitze ticket, including ascent and descent, costs approximately €72. A dog ticket costs €7.

Public Transport
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, take the Zugspitzbahn (cogwheel train) towards Eibsee. Get off at the Eibsee station and transfer to the Eibsee cable car, which ascends to the Zugspitze summit. From the summit, it's a short, signposted walk to the Schneefernerhaus. A roundtrip train ticket from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Eibsee, combined with the cable car to the summit, will cost around €70. A one-way ticket for a dog on the train costs €7.
