    From the Hohenschwangau ticket center, the museum is a short, easy walk. Follow the signs towards the Alpsee; the museum is located on the lake's shore. The walk is approximately 3 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    From Füssen, take bus route 73 towards Steingaden/Garmisch-Partenkirchen or bus route 78 towards Schwangau and get off at the Hohenschwangau/Alpseestraße bus stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. A single fare costs approximately €2.50.

  • Parking

    If driving, use the A7 motorway and follow signs to Hohenschwangau. Park in one of the designated parking lots (P1, P2, P3, or P4). Parking lot P4 is the closest to the museum. Parking costs €12 for up to 6 hours, with an additional €1 per hour up to a maximum of €16. A bicycle parking area is available between parking lot P4 and the museum.
