If you are starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south on Bismarckallee. After about 500 meters, turn left onto Kaiser-Joseph-Straße, the main shopping street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Schusterstraße. Turn right onto Schusterstraße and follow it until you reach the end at the Alte Universität. From there, turn left onto Friedrichstraße. Continue straight until you reach Schoferstraße. Erzbistum Freiburg will be on your left at Schoferstraße 2. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 20 minutes.
