  • Walking

    If you're starting from Freiburg's main train station (Freiburg Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head southeast toward the tram station. Take Tram Line 1 (direction 'Littenweiler') from the station. After 4 stops, get off at 'Schwarzwaldstraße'. From the tram stop, walk straight along Schwarzwaldstraße until you reach the intersection with Gerberau. Turn left onto Gerberau, and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The Museum Natur und Mensch will be on your left at Gerberau 32.

    From the city center (Freiburg Stadtmitte), head to the nearest tram station. Board Tram Line 2 (direction 'Zähringer Straße') or Tram Line 3 (direction 'Littenweiler'). Get off at 'Bertoldsbrunnen', which is the central stop. From Bertoldsbrunnen, walk toward the direction of the large clock tower (Uhrturm) and follow the pedestrian street (Kaiser-Joseph-Straße).
