If you're starting from the Freiburg city center (e.g., Freiburg Minster), walk towards the tram station 'Freiburg, Stadtmitte'. From there, take tram line 1 or 3 towards 'Littenweiler'. Get off at the stop 'Schwarzwaldstraße'. Once you exit the tram, head south on Schwarzwaldstraße, then turn right onto Schänzlestraße. The Universität Freiburg Botanical Garden will be on your left at Schänzlestraße 1. The walk from the tram stop to the garden will take about 10 minutes.
