    If you are starting from the Würzburg Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the large intersection with the road called Bismarckstraße. Turn right onto Bismarckstraße and follow it until you reach Residenzplatz, where the Würzburg Residence is located. It will be on your right at Residenzpl. 2.

    From the Würzburg Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), you can catch bus line 4 or 14 towards 'Heidingsfeld' or 'Sanderau'. Get off at the 'Residenzplatz' stop. The Würzburg Residence will be just a short walk from the bus stop, directly adjacent on Residenzpl. 2.

    If you are staying in the Altstadt area, you can easily walk to the Würzburg Residence. From the Market Square (Marktplatz), head southwest towards the Residenzplatz. It’s about a 10-minute walk. Just follow the street as it curves, and you will see the grand entrance of the Residence ahead.
