From Heraklion, go to the Central Bus Station (Ktel) located at 100, 1866 street. Take the bus heading to Agia Galini. The buses run frequently, approximately every hour. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Agia Galini, you will need to switch to a local taxi, as there is no direct bus service to Kapetaniana. Taxis are available near the bus stop, and the ride to Kapetaniana will take around 15-20 minutes.

If you are in Rethymnon, head to the Ktel bus station in the city center. Take a bus to Heraklion, and from there, follow the previously mentioned instructions to reach Agia Galini and then take a taxi to Kapetaniana. Alternatively, if you prefer to walk from Agia Galini, you can walk towards the village of Kapetaniana which is about 4 km away, but please be cautious as the roads can be narrow and winding.
