Getting There

Walking

From the center of Olympia, head east on Vasileos Konstantinou Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with E.O. Olympia - Pyrgos. Turn left onto E.O. Olympia - Pyrgos and walk for about 2 km. You will pass through the village of Krestena. Once you reach the next intersection, turn right onto the road leading towards Agioi Deka. After another 3 km, you will see signs for the Archaeological Site of Gortyna. Follow these signs until you arrive at the site.
Public Bus

From Olympia, you can take a public bus to Agioi Deka. Head to the Olympia bus station located near the city center. Look for the bus that indicates 'Agioi Deka' or similar destinations. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Agioi Deka bus stop, follow the signs towards the Archaeological Site of Gortyna, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Olympia. Start by heading east on Vasileos Konstantinou Street and continue onto E.O. Olympia - Pyrgos.
