From Heraklion Airport, take a local bus to Heraklion Bus Station A (also called the Port Bus Station), which is a 6-minute walk to the Venetian Port. Buses depart every 10 minutes, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. A single fare costs approximately €2. Alternatively, from Heraklion new Ferry Port, Bus Station A is also walking distance. Follow signs to the city center.

Taxis are readily available throughout Heraklion. A taxi from Heraklion Airport to the Venetian Port takes about 10-15 minutes and costs around €15. A taxi from the new Ferry Port to the Venetian Port is a short ride, costing approximately €5-€7.

If driving, parking is available near the port. Three large parking areas (Parking Port 1, 2, and 3) offer all-day parking for around €3. However, these lots can fill up quickly, especially during peak season. Alternative parking garages in the city center charge hourly rates, typically around €3.50 for the first hour and €0.50 every hour after.
