If you are in the heart of Heraklion, a great way to reach Old Anchor is by walking. Start from Plateia Venizelou (central square) and head east along 1866 Street towards the Old Port area. Continue straight until you reach Leof. Nearchou. Old Anchor is located directly on this road. This route is approximately 1 kilometer and should take around 15 minutes at a leisurely pace.

From Heraklion Airport, take a public bus to the city center. Bus tickets can be purchased at kiosks near the bus stops for around €1.50-€2.00. From the city center (e.g., near the port), you can walk to the Old Anchor. Alternatively, take a local bus that travels along the waterfront (Leof. Nearchou). Ensure the bus is heading in the direction of the Old Anchor, which is located east of the main port area.

Taxis are readily available throughout Heraklion. You can find them at designated taxi stands or use a local taxi app. Inform the driver that you want to go to Old Anchor on Leof. Nearchou. The ride from the city center will cost approximately €5-€10 and will take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
