Car
If you're driving from Naxos Town, head southeast on the main road towards the port. Follow the signs directing you to the ferry terminal and board a ferry to Ios. The ferry ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ios, follow the signs towards Chora (the main town). From Chora, take the road heading south towards Kolitsani Beach. Look for the sign indicating Kolitsani Beach and follow that road until you reach the beach parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Kolitsani Beach using public transport, first take a ferry from Naxos to Ios. Upon arrival at Ios, head to the local bus station located near the port. Catch the bus heading to Chora (the main town). Once in Chora, transfer to a bus that goes towards Kolitsani Beach. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. After getting off at the designated stop for Kolitsani, it’s just a short walk down to the beach.
