The cost for the trek, booked directly through the Carmelita Cooperative, is approximately $370 USD (2,900 GTQ). An English-speaking guide costs an additional $192 USD (1,500 GTQ). This price generally includes meals, camping equipment, park entrance fees, and mule support for carrying supplies.

For those with limited time or seeking a less strenuous option, helicopter tours to El Mirador are available from Flores. The flight takes approximately 30 minutes and provides a unique aerial perspective of the jungle and the archaeological site. A day tour by helicopter from Flores costs approximately $750 USD per person. This typically includes the flight, a guided tour of the site, and lunch.
