Start at any metro station in Budapest. If you are near the Deák Ferenc tér station, take Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli Pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Déli Pályaudvar' stop. From there, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located outside the station. Take tram number 61 in the direction of 'Dózsa György út'. Travel for 3 stops and get off at 'Kapisztrán tér'. The City Hall - District Mayor's Office is located at Kapisztrán tér 1, just a short walk from the tram stop.

Walking
If you are already in the District I area of Budapest, you can reach the City Hall by walking. From the Buda Castle, head towards the direction of the Fisherman’s Bastion. Once you reach the Bastion, continue walking down the hill towards the Kapisztrán tér. The City Hall will be on your left side at Kapisztrán tér 1. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the castle.

If you are near the Széll Kálmán tér, take bus number 5 or 16 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. Get off at the stop 'Kapisztrán tér'. From there, you will see the City Hall - District Mayor's Office directly across the square at Kapisztrán tér 1.

If you are near the Chain Bridge (Lánchíd), walk to the tram stop 'Clark Ádám tér'. Catch tram number 19 towards 'Kelenföld vasútállomás'. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Krisztina tér'. From Krisztina tér, it’s about a 10-minute walk up the hill towards Kapisztrán tér, where you will find the City Hall.
