If you're driving from Egilsstaðir, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Seyðisfjörður. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto Route 93 towards Breiðdalsvík. Continue on Route 93 until you reach Route 1 again, then turn left. Hvalnes Nature Reserve Beach will be on your right after about 40 kilometers. Look for the parking area and trail leading to the beach.
