Walking
From the center of Egilsstadir, start at the Egilsstadir Town Hall located at Kaldalón 1. Head south on Kaldalón street towards Kaupvangur street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kaupvangur street. Turn left onto Kaupvangur. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and restaurants. Camp Egilsstadir and the Egilsstadastofa Visitor Center are located at Kaupvangur 17, just ahead on your left.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Egilsstadir Town Hall at Kaldalón 1. Cycle south on Kaldalón street towards Kaupvangur street. Turn left onto Kaupvangur and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. The route is mostly flat and you will enjoy the local scenery. Upon reaching Kaupvangur 17, you will find Camp Egilsstadir and the Egilsstadastofa Visitor Center on your left.

Catch the local bus from the Egilsstadir Bus Station, located at Kaldalón 1. Check the bus schedule for routes that go towards Kaupvangur. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Kaupvangur 17. After a short ride, you will arrive near your destination. From there, walk a short distance to reach Camp Egilsstadir and the Egilsstadastofa Visitor Center.
