Follow Route 1 northbound for about 70 km (43 miles) until you reach the town of Reykholt. Once in Reykholt, take a right onto Fljótstunga road. The Cave Vidgelmir is located a short distance down this road. Look for signs directing you to the cave. Parking is available on-site, and there is usually no cost for parking.
