    From Seydisfjordur, head towards the main road (Route 93). Walk along the picturesque waterfront, enjoying the views of the mountains and colorful houses. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 93. At this point, take a right onto Route 93 and follow it for approximately 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) in the direction of Egilsstaðir.     For a more comfortable option, you can take a bus from Seydisfjordur to Egilsstaðir. Check the local bus schedule at the Seydisfjordur bus station. Buses usually run several times a day. Once you arrive at the Egilsstaðir bus station, exit the bus and head towards Laufskógar 1. The East Iceland Heritage Museum is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the signs towards Laufskógar, and you will find the museum on your left.
