    From Skaftafell National Park, head south on Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for approximately 40 kilometers (about 30 minutes) until you reach the small village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Look for signs indicating Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon and turn onto Road 206. Drive for about 2 kilometers, and you will find the parking area for Fjaðrárgljúfur on your right. Please note that there might be a small parking fee, typically around 1,000 ISK.
