From Reykjavík, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. After approximately 190 km, take a left onto Route 208 towards Landmannalaugar. Continue on Route 208 for about 30 km until you reach the intersection with Route 26. At this point, turn right onto Route 26. After about 30 km, you will arrive at Hólaskjól - Highland Center, located at Fjallabaksleið nyrðri, 881 Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for highland driving, as some roads can be rough and require a 4x4 vehicle.
